2 Component Banana Oatmeal Cookies - My Sweet Desires

How can baking cookies ever be quick? You usually have to find a scale, carefully measure out all the components, caress the dough for ages, cut out small cookies in to heart, star and moon shapes and then wait a second century'til they are baked.

NEVER EVER would I bake cookies under these circumstances. That is just how I roll. But then I encounter these Banana Oatmeal Fitness Cookies (that is what I call them, anyway.)

Okay, they do not taste just like the cookies you get round Christmas time. Instead they're a little more gooey and do not crumble at all.

But what largely convinced me was that you could have them ready in 25 minutes including the baking time! No shit.

Possibly the most astonishing thing about the biscuits is that they involve only two ingredients! Yep that's right, and anyone can combine two components.

Though if you want to make them even tastier and/or fitter you can pimp them up using some add ons like raisins, walnuts or cinnamon. That's Your Choice!

It seems increasingly like a sales pitch (it is not -- nobody is gont cover me if you consume them), but I must say yet another amazing thing about those cookies.

They're tasty! Yep, after I'd had the initial I finished the rest inside an hour.

They're perfect for hiking excursions or other events where you want a quick energizing snack on the go. Nowadays I keep them as a quick snack in my backpack.

It must also be noted they're vegan. No eggs, no milk, none of the normal cookie suspects. Simply oats and bananas.

Health Benefits -- Banana Oatmeal Fitness Cookies

First I wished to call them"Fitness Cookies" -- because I feel these will be the only truly healthy cookies that have been produced by humankind .

Take oats such as. Not only do they lower your cholesterol levels which in turn will help you prevent developing heart disease or diabetes, but in addition they energize you with good carbohydrates and nutrients to keep you going for more throughout the day.

Those nutrients contain manganese, good for bone production and skin ethics in addition to magnesium -- essential for energy production to make you feel more awake

Same with bananas -- the favourite fruit one of athletes -- not only cause they contain a decent amount of good carbohydrates but also for being the huge players at the potassium game.

Potassium is a very important nutrient for preventing tiredness and muscle cramps. Pretty good if you've got a hard day before you.

Because you can see, I am a big fan.

2 Ingredient Cookies. Ideal for when you want an energy boost on the go. Enjoy!

If you do not possess this make sure to grease the baking dish with butter (or olive oil if you're vegan)

To create the cookie shape only grab a spoon and garnish an adequate sum from the mixture onto the baking tray like I did in the photo above. It is super fast and easy.

Off it goes into the oven for approximately 15 - 20 minutes.

Done!

Recipe Notes

EQUIPMENT: You just require a solid baking dish and a few parchment paper, trendy also.
